Car parks at Newham University Hospital, managed by ISS Facility Services Healthcare, have been accredited with the Park Mark Award.

The accreditation means the facilities have been fully risk assessed by the Police as providing a high standard of cleanliness, effective security and car park staff visibility, CCTV cameras, signage and good lighting. Police also check on the crime statistics for the location and the local area.

Colin Phillips, General Manager of ISS Healthcare said: “I would like to congratulate the ISS team for their diligence and hard work that has enabled us to achieve accreditation on our first award application. We join 470 other elite organisations who take pride in providing excellent car parking facilities for their customers and staff around the UK.”

Under the scheme each year the car parking facility at the hospital will undergo a rigorous risk assessment to ensure that the high standards of the award have been maintained.
