Here’s your chance to help shape the future of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the surrounding area.
The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is reviewing its local plan, which sets out the growth and changes within the area until 2031.
A consultation will run until January 29 and is aimed at gathering views on which policies should be included in the review.
Anthony Hollingsworth, director of planning policy and decisions, said: “There is a huge amount of new development in and around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. That’s why it’s so important for residents and businesses to get involved and tell us their views to help shape future development in the area.”
Anyone who wants to have their say can visit lldcplan.commonplace.is to read more about the plans and provide feedback.
Four consultation events are also taking place, each looking at a specific area of the plan. These are:
Tomorrow - Housing: The Old Town Hall, Broadway, Stratford
Wednesday, November 22 - Infrastructure: Bromley-by-Bow Centre, St Leonard’s Street, Bromley-by-Bow
Wednesday, November 29 - Environment and sustainability: Timber Lodge, Honour Lea Avenue, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Wednesday, December 6 - Employment and economy: Hub 67, Rothbury Road, Hackney Wick
Each day will feature an afternoon session between 3pm and 5.30pm and an evening session from 6pm to 8.30pm.
The meetings are open to everyone and booking in advance is not required.
