The red carpet was rolled out for youngsters at Richard House Children’s Hospice in Beckton as they held their annual film ceremony.
Hard-working children who take part in a variety of film projects in the hospice’s film club received star trophies to take home in 17 categories.
The building in Richard House Drive was decorated glamourously and attended by Miss Commonweath International 2011 Hayley Mac.
Bernie Wighton, who runs the film club at the hospice with assistant Hasna Begum, said: “It is a pleasure teaching these young adults who not only learn how to work with film, but create impressive and heartfelt projects.
“Saturday’s ceremony was a great way to reward them for their incredible efforts, and tell the world how much talent we have here.”
Richard House Children’s Hospice cares for children with life-limiting illnesses and supports their families.
