A three-year-old girl is in a stable condition in hospital after she was injured a road accident with a car in Forest Gate yesterday afternoon.
Part of Dames Road, at its junctions with Sidney Road and Vansittart Road, was cordoned off for investigation by police officers after the accident, which took place at around 5pm.
The girl was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken by ambulance to The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
