Sporting sensation Lydia Hellam proved it is not only sport she excels in when she received her results.
London Mini-Marathon winner Lydia, from the Coopers’ Company and Coborn School, balanced her hectic training schedule with studying to achieve an impressive nine A*s, an A and a B.
Lydia also finished sixth in the country for the 1,500 metres at the English Schools Athletics Championships.
A spokesperson from her school said: “Lydia is a highly focused and conscientious student who exudes ambition and determination. What a star performance!”
