The next generation of Alexander McQueens and Giorgio Armanis showed off their designs at a fashion gala at Stratford Circus.
From elaborate headdresses to striking simplicity in monochrome, exquisite and intricate clothing created by past and present students of St Patrick’s College was showcased up and down the catwalk.
The gala, which was held on Thursday last week, celebrated students’ fusion designs combining Asian, African, Caribbean, Japanese and European culture with sharp modern style, sparkle and craftsmanship.
The show was attended by more than 200 guests and featured 55 looks, including gowns, party dresses and dramatic theatrical pieces, as well as suits and modern daywear for men and women. More than 60 student designers, models and make-up artists participated in the event.
St Patrick’s College opened its campus in Stratford High Street in October last year.
