THE first travel nightmare expected because of the G20 Summit did not happen this morning when stations expected to be closed were opened
Police had asked for Royal Victoria, Custom House and Prince Regent stations to be shut from this morning but they are currently operating normally following a U turn.
Road closures are expected on the roads close to ExCeL, and the approaches to the venue at Custom House. Tidal Basin Road is already closed at Silvertown Way, just west of the ExCeL.
Connaught Bridge closes on Thursday from 6am until midnight.
