Newham’s streets thronged to the sounds fun and music as its residents came out to celebrate the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Preparations in Browning Road, Manor Park began at 6.30am for organisers who also raised m money for The Royal London Children’s Critical Care Unit in Whitechapel.

Youngsters enjoyed fun on a bouncy castle, face painting and ice creams while a DJ played a variety of tunes giving the party a multi-cultural party atmosphere.

Daniell Hambrook, one of the organisers paid tribute to the community spirit created by the party.

More pictures from parties will be in next week’s Recorder in paper and on this website and London24.com
