Fresh fruit and vegetables for animals at Beckton Pets at Home

Pets at Home in Beckton has signed a deal which will see all in-store animals provided with fresh fruit and vegetables.

The store has secured an agreement with caterers Reynolds, following a six-month trial.

Youngsters will also be able to watch the pets being fed their afternoon snacks during Picnic Time every day at 4pm and at 2.30pm during the weekend.

Store manager Suzanne Simpson said: “Our pets’ feeding routines are based on recommendations from highly-qualified vets.”
