What’s happening in Newham this summer?

A new app has been launched to provide information about all the council-run activities in one easy place.

The ‘What’s on in Newham’ app is free to download for Apple and Android devices.

It lists events happening throughout the summer in community centres, leisure centres, libraries and parks.

Councillor Ken Clark, cabinet member for building communities, public affairs, regeneration and planning, said: “It is a fantastic way of keeping our residents aware of what is happening in their communities and the information we can provide on it will continue to grow.”
