Hindus from all around the country will be joining a local temple for a parade through the streets to celebrate their silver jubilee today.
The SKSS Temple, in Shaftesbury Road, Forest Gate, will be marking its 25th year in the borough with a procession from Wanstead Flats to the temple via Green Street in Upton Park from 10.30am.
The event will be organised by young volunteers and they will be accompanied by dohl drummers, dramas, and folk dancing.
