A Forest Gate man and his team have been crowned champions of BBC Two quiz show Only Connect.
Richard Aubrey and his team, String Section, came from behind to defeat the Wayfarers by 15 points to 12 on last night’s episode.
Viewers saw the 31-year-old teacher and his teammates, Pete Sorel-Cameron and Tessa North, take on four rounds of challenging logic puzzles before claiming the trophy.
Team captain Richard said: “We’d have been happy to win a round, let alone the whole thing.”
