Students in Newham will be ready for whatever the economy throws at them after taking part in a workshop that helps them handle money issues next week.
Forest Gate Community College is one of the schools benefiting from the education experts who will teach youths how to budget, bank and borrow.
They will learn how to defuse a personal debt time bomb, combat the savings crisis and a resist burgeoning ‘boomerang generation’.
The workshops will take place at Forest Gate Community School on March, 13 at 2.30pm and young people will have a chance to win an iPad and £1,000 worth of our financial education workshops for their school.
The initiative is part of the Learn Money 2014, a financial literacy action week started by Young Global Leader, Henrik Naujoks in 2011.
