Marijana Lucic, of Chestnut Avenue, will play Lady Jamona Cherneys as part of living history show Go Medieval at the Tower.

The family festival recreates the court of King Henry VI in 1445, as England celebrates the coronation of his bride, Margaret of Anjou.

“Drama was always one of my favourite subjects at school having studied performing arts at Sir George Monoux College,” the 19-year-old said.

“I’m currently on my gap year and it’s not every day you get to say you’ve performed at the Tower of London.”

As a lady in waiting to Queen Margaret, Marijana will join the majestic royal court as they sweep through the scents, sights and sounds of a medieval world built inside the Tower’s dry moat.

The event, which takes place between 10am and 5pm daily from August 4-6, features staged sword fights and the chance for visitors to fire a crossbow.
