Floating cinema for Olympic arts celebration

FILM people want to float your boat – by bringing the big screen to the waterways of Newham.

As part of Olympic cultural celebrations, a unique vessel will cruise the river networks of the five Olympic host boroughs to offer free public screenings and workshops of movies.

It will run from June 24 to July 24 and is part of Create 11, being designed by Hackney-based architects Studio Weave, and is part of a cultural partnership between the host boroughs, which aims to provide a major international arts festival and lasting cultural Olympic legacy for East London.
