Firefighters are still at the scene of a fire in Barking Road, East Ham.
The fire broke out at the premises at 12.30am and it was initially thought people may have been inside the building.
Four fire appliances attended. A London Fire Brigade spokesman said everyone had been accounted for. One lane of the Barking Road westbound is closed off between the junction with Bedford Road and Napier Road, while fire crews make the building safe.
