A fire at a home in Manor Park has “gutted” the whole inside of the property, causing extensive damage to the ground and first floors.
Around 20 firefighters attended the scene after a 10.15 call this morning to battle the flames in Sherrard Road.
No-one was injurred and the fire was quickly put out, but not before destroying the whole of the ground floor and 50 per cent of the first floor.
The fire service are investigating the cause of the fire.
