Fire crews were called to a blaze inside the Olympic Stadium this morning.
The London Fire Brigade said it was called to reports of a van alight inside the iconic building at 7am.
Witnesses on Twitter watched as dark smoke rose from the park.
At 7.30am one user, Emma Critch, @ESCritch tweeted: “After first going up the wrong road London Fire Brigade eventually come to the rescue. Thanks!”
No injuries have been reported and the fire has now been dealt with.
