Filming for Final Score - an action movie starring Pierce Brosnan – has got underway today at the Boleyn Ground.
The film centres around an armed gang holding an entire 35,000-strong crowd to ransom during a sporting event – and only an ex-soldier, whose fallen comrade’s daughter is among the audience, can save the day.
And it seems the stadium, which will be demolished once filming has finished, will be easily recognisable on the big screen.
Former wrestler Dave Bautista, who is among the cast, posted a birds-eye view of the ground on his Instagram account.
The claret and blue seats, complete with West Ham United wording, are in view, along with pitch markings and a goal post.
