Gifts continued to flood in to our annual toy appeal campaign in the last seven days.

And we would like to thank those who efforts helped our achieve our best result in 34 years of the Community Links and Newham Recorder Christmas Toy Appeal.

Fords of Dagenham made a lovely donation of gifts as you can see from our picture.

Staff at the Olympic Delivery Authority donated £115 from a collection.

A major contributor to our appeal this year has been Ellmer.

Kevin Jenkins of Community Links said: ““Special thanks to FB Ellmer Ltd for their tremendous all round support and help with the appeal which has been crucial in enabling us to help all the children referred in this the toughest and most difficult of all years – thank you”.

The Olympic Delivery Authority then staged a second toy collection and cash collection, which raised another. £392.77.

We would also like to thank: Westgate House – Stratford E15 for a toy collection; TPG – toy collection and volunteering at warehouse; Sherringham Nursery Schools – Manor Park E12 – toy collection; East London Business Alliance – toy collection and Lister School – collection of £86.45.

We could not have done this without you all. Thank You.
