Staff at Sainsbury’s in East Ham said goodbye last week to a colleague of nearly three decades.
Working for the supermarket in Myrtle Road for 29 years, friends and fellow employees showered Ann Scrivener with farewell gifts as thanks for her work.
Ann started on the grocery department in 1983 before moving on to checkouts and fresh foods.
She said: “I have enjoyed working here at Sainsbury’s and gained some great friends and experience. I will miss all my colleagues.”
