Eight week old Rottweiler, Wilma, was last seen in the owner’s van at Asda, in Tollgate Road, at around 3.30pm on Sunday.

It is believed she was taken from the van while the family were in the shop.

Owner, James Wicker, 54, of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, said: “We stopped to grab a few things, before we were planning to visit some friends in Plaistow.

“We were gone for around five minutes, came back and she was gone.

“We thought with the deadlock on the van, she would be safe.”

Wilma’s picture is all over Facebook, Twitter and on notices at vets, but still hasn’t been found.

Anyone with information should contact James on 07966 602606.
