Families flock to tea party at Gallions Reach in Beckton

It was party time at Gallions Reach shopping centre in Beckton last week when they hosted a fairytale children’s event.

Rain failed to keep shoppers away from the Mad Hatters Tea Party from Monday April 9 to Friday April 13 as families headed down to the centre at 3 Armada Way.

An array of characters from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland were there to meet and greet children and parents including the white rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and Alice herself.

Entertainment carried on in the marquee which hosted lots of fun activities such as biscuit and cake making, face painting, and crazy golf.

Gallions Reach also put on a week-long Easter egg hunt where they challenged visitors to find 10 eggs hidden around the centre to be to be in with a chance of winning 150 to spend on whatever they wanted at the shopping centre.
