A panel that will help shape the future design of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is appealing for experts to join it.
The independent Quality Review Panel helps shape the future design of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the surrounding area has 16 members.
They test the fundamental design principles of planning proposals both at pre-application stage and as part of the application process itself. They also support the work of the Legacy Corporation’s Planning Decisions Team which has considered new developments for the Park People with expertise in public space and landscape design, sustainability, inclusive design and housing design are particularly needed.
Peter Studdert, Chairman of the Quality Review Panel, said: “We assess design quality in the round, and don’t just look at the aesthetic appearance of proposals, so we’re looking for people from a wide range of disciplines who can make a positive contribution to our work based on real practical experience.”
Applications should be addressed to Fortismere Associates and include a CV with two referees, and a covering letter outlining the contribution they could make to the panel to LLDC@fortismere-associates.co.uk. The deadline is 5pm on July 5.
