Outdoor types have the chance to enjoy Spring at West Ham Park on Saturday when they can go on a guided walk and learn about falconry.
The Springwatch event has been organised by the Friends and Staff of West Ham Park. It includes a Falconry Display in the palygroudn area from noon until 4pm. It will be the ideal chance to get up close and personal with live birds of prey and learn all about them.
You can also go on a guided nature walk from 1pm to 2pm. Meet at the bandstand to experience the highlights of the park’s spring bird activity, flowers and trees. If you have a pair of binoculars, take them along.
And to round off the afternoon, you can go to the craft session from 2pm to 4pm by the playground.
