Streets around Victoria Dock Road were closed for about an hour today as emergency services dealt with an unexploded World War Two bomb.
Police were called around midday and specialist officers dealt with the device.
Victoria Dock Road was closed between Connaught Bridge and Prince Regent Lane.
A spookesman at Scotland Yard said the closures were only in force for a short time. He said the device was dealt with in less than an hour.
