Have you ever interviewed an MP on a bicycle made for seven?

Or relaxed with a specially-created symphony, joined in a bee hunt or climbed a podium and shouted about anything you wanted to?

Well now you can as part of a series of events organised by The Yard Theatre to embrace Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in different ways.

The series, dubbed Walkie Talkies, begins tomorrow and runs until Sunday, August 2.

From tomorrow until Saturday, MPs and councillors will be talking to constituents on a roving roundtable bike.

Just turn up at the Copper Box Arena between 1pm and 6pm to have your say.

If you’re too young to vote, have your say on the podium near the Timber Lodge Cafe from 11am until 3.30pm between Thursday, July 23, and Saturday, July 25.

The same dates will also feature a unique psychic reading from comedian Stacy Makishi at the Timber Lodge Cafe, using newspapers rather than a deck of cards.

This Saturday and Sunday, get the whole family buzzing by becoming bees – and make sure you dress for the occasion.

Meet at Alfred’s Meadow in the north of the park between 1pm and 5pm.

You can also get a group of friends together and take part in Team of the Decades.

It starts at The Yard Theatre in Hackney Wick at 4pm and 7pm on Friday, July 24, and at 2pm, 4pm and 7pm on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26.

Discover new sounds on the same three days by meeting at the Run Sculpture for an intimate symphony, designed for one audience member at a time.

Between Friday, July 31 and Sunday, August 2, go hurtling with a cassette player and headphones for a performance that changes each time.

A spokesman for the programme said: “This unique approach is an opportunity for friends, families and individuals to make, travel through, and experience new worlds.

“Walkie Talkies is inclusive theatre at its best – for all ages and designed to inspire, inform and delight.”

The final event is available to competition winners only and offers the chance to drift in the London Aquatics Centre pool after dark with only artist Amy Sharrocks for company.
