If you had the chance to ask your future MP any question, what would it be?

Because now is your chance to put them in the hot seat as the Recorder asks residents to send in their questions, which will be put to the prospective parliamentary candidates.

Whether it is about the parties’ policies on tackling the ever growing need of housing, the NHS or what they could do for your area, we want to hear from you.

The Recorder will be holding its West Ham hustings - which will be filmed using Facebook Live - this afternoon (May 31) at 4pm.

All of the candidates for this year’s general election were invited to make sure that their voices are heard.

We are expecting Green party candidate Michael J. Spracklin, Conservative party candidate Patrick Spencer and Liberal Democrat party candidate Paul Reynolds to join us.

If you have a burning question for the candidates you would like us to ask, then email it to
