An elderly man has been missing from a Forest Gate care home since yesterday.
Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Modeste Mathurin, 78, who was last seen at about 4pm at the care home in South Esk Road.
Mr Mathurin is described as a dark skinned black man of slim build and around 5ft 3ins with balding grey hair.
He was wearing a green t-shirt, black jogging bottoms, and was possibly wearing no shoes.
Any one with information is asked to call the police non-emergency line on 101.
