A huge Lego model office that explores how to fit 80 staff into a single 15 foot booth will go on display at the University of East London.

The model looks at utilising space and sustainability and has recently returned from America.

It was built by UEL architecture student Matt Fallowfield-Cooper working with UEL based Computing and Design Management Department and includes many figures crafted to represent staff based at the university.

The model was displayed at the CoreNet Global Summit in San Diego, a trade conference that runs in many countries dealing with corporate real estate issues and has a long attendance list comprising some of the worlds largest companies and government departments.

It was visited by (among others) people from Intel, Cisco, Pepsi, Fed-Ex, Bank of America, Oracle and Coca-Cola.
