Staff at a Stratford primary school celebrated their pupils’ towering achievement on Friday (Dec 7) to create a handmade self-esteem boosting robot.
Children in every year at Ranelagh Primary School in Corporation Street worked on a project Anti-Bullying Week to create individual cubes decorated with positive messages for victims of bullying such as ‘shout out for help’ and ‘don’t be afraid’.
They managed to make over 200 boxes that were stacked on top of each other to form an Anti-Bullying Robot to stand as a monument to tolerance, strength, and understanding.
The project was unveiled on Friday by West Ham MP Lyn Brown who admired what the pupils had created over two sessions each in a week.
