Labour’s Shadow Education Minister Tristram Hunt in in east London this-morning visiting a free-school and answering questions from pupils.

He is joining the morning assembly at Stratford’s School 21 in Pitchford Street which will end with a questions-and-answers session.

Mr Hunt then meets head-teacher Peter Hyman and primary head James Dawson for talks before joining some classes and sitting in on lessons on his fact-finding visit until morning break-time when he leaves.

The primary-and-secondary school opened 18 months ago. It currently has 300 pupils in Reception and Year 1 at primary and Year 7 and Year 8 at secondary, expanding year-by-year as pupils move up.
