Primary school children got into the spirit of Red Nose Day last week to raise hundreds of pounds for charity Comic Relief.
Pupils at Grange Primary School in Suffolk Road, Plaistow, exercised their business skills by selling around 120 red noses in the playground and cakes decorated by Year Fives.
The children teamed up with staff to run a number of other activities including a drawing competition, biscuit decorating, a chance to get their noses painted red, and a simply red stall.
Charities such as Community Links, the Healthy Heart Campaign, and Newham Action Against Domestic Violence joined in the fun and helped the school to raise £260.96.
