Oxbridge bound students Adeolu Akano, Justyna Ladosz and Husnain Abbas-Nasim posed proudly with their A level results during a morning of high excitement at Newham Sixth Form College.
Adeolu, who achieved an A* in Maths and A grades in Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry will be studying Chemical Engineering at Cambridge.
He will be joined at Cambridge by fellow star pupil Husnain who will be studying Law after achieving A* grades in History, Law and Psychology and an A grade in Government and Politics.
Justyna, meanwhile, is heading to Oxford to study Ancient History and Archaeology having posted an A* grade in History and A grades in Classical Civilization and Philosophy.
West Ham MP Lyn Brown came along to congratulate NewVIc’s students on a record breaking day for the college.
