Youngsters at Keir Hardie Primary School in Canning Town got into the St George’s Day spirit.
Year 6 pupils paid tribute to the patron saint of England by taking part in a special assembly before being decked out in red and white clothing.
Some pupils chose to don masks and armour and carry spears to imitate the Roman soldier, who died in 303 BC.
