Amna Kheri, who achieved 10A*s and an A at the Browning Road school, plans to become a doctor.
She said: “My advice to other students would be to start your revision early. I think this was the key to my success.”
Foyzul Amin is heading to Ilford County to study for his A-levels after gaining six A*s and six As.
He said: “Have the right people around you; that will help to motivate you so you get the best grades possible.”
Tasnim Rahman made a strong start in her bid to study optometry at university by earning herself nine A*s and two As, and said: “Year 11 has flown by so quickly; make sure you get your head down and don’t leave it too late.”
The students’ efforts were praised by headteacher Ian Wilson.
He said: “We are delighted that our results have improved at a time when there is so much volatility in outcomes nationally.”
