Young dancers are competing in the final of a TV talent show this Sunday and they need your votes to win.

A number of students from Rokeby School, on Barking Road, Canning Town are in street dance group IMD who have made it through to the last stage of Sky One’s ‘Got to Dance’.

Year 11 students Aaron Lukon, Chris Balbastro, Rafay Suleiman, and Xolela Mbekenu, Year 10 student Corey Somefun, and former student Stefano Addae trained at the school three times a week but that has increased in the run-up to the show’s live final broadcast from the 02 Arena on Sunday at 6pm.

Dance teacher and co-choreographer Omar Ansah-Awuah said: “The group are working extremely hard to win this competition as this will be the next step to go on to bigger things.

“We need everyone’s vote to help us achieve this, so please vote for IMD.”
