St Angela’s Ursuline School

Students at St Angela’s Ursuline Sixth Form have been congratulated on their “fantastic results” on A-level day.

Nearly half of all 200 pupils taking exams at the school in St George’s Road, Forest Gate, achieved A*-B.

Headteacher Mark Johnson said the excellent results matched those of last year with a 99 per cent pass rate and and 75pc of students achieving A*-C overall.

He said: “These results include all students who passed A-E in Year 12 as our sixth form prides itself on ensuring the progression to university for all and not just the most able.

“It will give us a much improved value added score for 2017. As ever we need to congratulate also the governors, teachers and parents who have also been a vital part of ensuring the success of our students.”
