Young people are working with the police to host a charity event in East Ham to educate against crime.
On Saturday, local collective Youth Against Crime Not Crime Against You (YACNCAY) are hosting a free night of entertainment at Newham Town Hall.
Hosted by former MTV Base and Choice FM presenter Kat Boyce and Eastenders actress Bunmi Mojekwu, the night features live music, dance, fashion, and workshops run by the Metropolitan Police.
As well as entertaining young people, the event is intended to educate them to reduce gun and knife crime.
YACNCAY is taking place on Saturday May 26 from 3pm at Newham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, E6 2RP.
