East Ham’s Baitul Ahad Mosque on Tudor Road is hosting a lecture on the life of Muhammad.
The Noble Example of Holy Prophet Muhammad will be delivered by Maulana Ata-ul-Mujeed Rashid on April 12 at 4.30pm.
“The aim is to inform people about the true character of the prophet of Islam and to challenge the negative image of Islam that extremism has caused,” a spokeswoman said.
There will be a question and answer session after the lecture.
