An Indian restaurant in East Ham has been damaged in a fire.
Crews from East Ham and Barking were called to Amma Chettinadu Restaurant, in High Street North, at 3.45pm yesterday and had the blaze under control by 7.17pm.
The restaurant’s adjoining flat was also damaged by the fire which broke out in the ground to first floor extraction system.
No one was injured.
