A POST mortem of a man who died in a fire in East Ham has provisionally found smoke inhalation as the cause of death.
The body of 30-year-old Faizul Azeez was discovered in a bedroom by firefighters after a blaze took hold in a terraced home in Tilbury Road at 8pm on Friday.
In a provisional report, a Walthamstow Coroner’s Court pathologist concluded Mr Azeez died from inhalation of fire fumes.
Further forensic tests are being carried out.
The cause of the fire, which is not thought to be suspicious, is being investigated by London Fire Brigade.
