It was just one of several streets in the area all decked out in red, white and blue as young and old got into the party spirit.
The oldest resident was Rose McCoy, who is 90-years-young and has lived in the street for 66 years.
She only came out of hospital the day before and said she was glad to be taking part in the celebration.
Her daughter Linda Granville, now 67, was seven-years-old and performed on stage as the street marked the Queens’ accession to the throne in 1953.
Councillors Bryan and Marie Collier were joined by Newham Mayor Sir Robin Wales who arrived in the afternoon to judge the fancy dress competition.
