Paramedics took a man to a major trauma unit on Saturday evening after a road traffic accident between a cyclist and a car.

The incident occurred at the junction of Crownfield Road and Major Road, north of Stratford’s East Village, just before 8.30pm.

The man’s injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.
