Police officers have closed a park in Custom House after discovering the body of a man on a climbing frame.
The body, which was found at 8.30am this morning in Canning Town Recreation Ground in Freemasons Road, was hanging from a horizontal pole on a climbing frame in the play area.
The man is thought to be in his 40s but officers are currently trying to establish his identity.
An eyewitness said police officers closed the grounds to avoid dog walkers and other park users from seeing the body.
