Crossrail staff put down their tools and picked up their gardening gloves to improve a Canning Town community garden.
Thirty employees spent two days working on the Core Landscapes pop-up garden and plant nursery.
Volunteers from a diverse range of roles came together to create planters, sales displays and shelters at the Silvertown Way site.
It was part of Crossrail’s efforts to donate 2,018 hours of time to communities along the route before the railway opens in 2018.
