A young man was taken to hospital this afternoon following reports of a stabbing in Forest Gate.
Police attended the scene and the London Ambulance Service was called just after 4pm to Upton Lane.
Paramedics treated a man thought to be in his 20s and took him to an east London hospital in an ambulance.
The incident has caused traffic delays in the area with the A114 closed in both directions between St George’s Road junction and the A118 Romford Road junction.
The 325 bus route has been diverted via A118 Romford Road, Green Street, and Plashet Road.
