A man from Upton Park accused of stabbing a teenager to death outside a nightclub stands remanded in custody.
Roger Damali, 30, is the third person to be charged over the killing of 17-year-old Kelvin Chibueze, who died after being knifed in the chest outside the Artifex Club in Ilford, on August 15.
Appearing via video-link from Pentonville prison, Damali, of Macaulay Road, Upton Park, spoke only to confirm his identity during a brief hearing at the Old Bailey.
No application for bail was made.
He is due to return to court on February 17 for a plea and case management hearing, and is expected to stand trial alongside co-accused Lerone Boye, 24, and Dale Williams, 20, on May 21.
