The University of East London (UEL) will host a lecture looking back at the lessons learned after last year’s summer riots.
Darra Singh OBE, chairman of the Riots, Communities and Victims Panel will explore the cause and impact of the disorder on June 19.
The event forms part of the Vice-Chancellor’s lecture series addressing issues of community, economy, and human rights in east London and around the world against the backdrop of the Olympic Games.
It all starts at 6.15pm at the Conference and Computer Centre, Stratford Centre, Water Lane, Stratford.
