Two teenagers have been arrested after a 19-year-old was allegedly strangled and forced to apologise for being gay on a Jubilee line train.
The victim’s attackers reportedly threatened to stab him during the attack on a westbound Jubilee line train between West Ham and North Greenwich on October 21.
His female friend, 25, was also left with bruises after she was punched and pushed to the ground.
Two 16-year-olds were today arrested on suspicion of assault following a police appeal.
They remain in custody, a spokesman for British Transport Police confirmed.
